1. Overview
Piqd (“we”, “us”, “our”) helps you collect and organize links and posts you save from other apps — such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and your browser — in one searchable place. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how you can control it.
2. Information We Collect
- Account information: when you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo.
- Content you save: when you share a link or post into Piqd, we store the shared link or text, and, where available, a title, description, and preview image we fetch from that link's public page (using Open Graph data, or YouTube's public oEmbed service for YouTube links).
- Organizational data: the categories you create, the names you give your saved items, and any action tags (such as Watch, Read, or Share) you add.
3. What We Don't Do
We do not have API access to your YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, or LinkedIn accounts, and we cannot see your posts, messages, or activity on those platforms beyond the specific link you choose to share with us. We do not download or re-host the underlying video or image files you save — we store a link and a small preview only.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to operate your saved-items library (storing, searching, and organizing what you share), to suggest a category for each item you save, to sign you in and keep your account secure, and — if you choose to subscribe once that feature is available — to manage your subscription. We do not sell your personal information.
5. Third-Party Services We Use
Google (for Sign in with Google authentication) and Supabase (for database hosting and authentication infrastructure) process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms. To suggest a category for a saved item, we send that item's title, description, and source name, together with the names of your existing categories, to Anthropic's Claude API; we do not send your name, email address, or account details. Anthropic processes this data under its own terms. This policy will be updated to name the relevant payment processor if and when in-app subscriptions launch.
6. Data Retention & Deletion
Deleting a saved item moves it to Recently Deleted, where you can restore it or delete it permanently at any time. Items in Recently Deleted are permanently deleted automatically after 60 days by default; you can choose 30 or 90 days in Settings. Deleted data may remain in our service providers' backups for a short additional period. You can delete your account and all associated data from within the app, or by contacting us at support@intellivanz.com — we will complete email requests within 30 days.
7. Children's Privacy
Piqd is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Security
Your data is protected by database-level access controls (Row Level Security) that restrict every user's data to that user alone, enforced independently of application code. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we follow industry-standard practices to protect your information.
9. Your Choices & Rights
You can edit or delete your saved items, categories, and profile information at any time within the app. You may request a copy of your data or full account deletion by contacting us at support@intellivanz.com.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, notify you within the app.
